Cottage Weekend

Daddy thought it would be a great idea to spend some family time together before I embarked on my Grade One year.

So...where do you take 11 adults and 8 girls ranging in age from 3 months - 6 years?

You find a giant cottage on Georgian Bay with 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms!!!!!!
Thankfully, the cottage also had a huge movie screen downstairs so we could all watch some Disney.
The kitchen came equipt with a cool island that us "older" girls could use for our meals.

And we set up a cute little 'peanut gallery' for Sloanie and the McMullen girls.
Mommy was excited that the cottage had a gorgeous waterfront area complete with a firepit for marshmellow roasts and smores.  Those you from Southern Ontario will get this...they love their backyard fires down there!

Mommy brought all the fixin's for Smores and made them for everyone.  She has perfected the slow roast technique which she claims is the secret to the perfect smore.  As you can see, Uncle Seanie certainly liked his!

Burke took over for Mommy when she wanted a break :)
The fireside is also a great place to snuggle with Nana and Papa.
Poor Sloanie...she only got to sample some graham crackers.  Mommy decided she was too young for the entire smore experience.
This is my very first sunset picture that I captured all by myself.

On our second night, Kaya took this photo of me....
...i took this one of Kaya...

...and Mommy took this one of Candra and I.

Thumbs up for a fun weekend at a beautiful cottage with wonderful friends and family!

Here's to our 2012 Cottage weekend!!!
